Track how your self storage business is doing with Stora's new Dashboard

One thing we hear again and again from operators is how much they rely on data and reporting to help them grow their self storage businesses. In fact, many of you have bespoke reports created for you every month to help you track your key metrics.

Here at Stora, we want to give you the best possible tools to run your business, with the absolute minimum effort. That's why we've been hard at work on our own vision of data and reporting for self storage, and today we're pleased to release our all-new Dashboard.

The Dashboard

It gives you a live look into your Gross Revenue, Monthly Recurring Revenue, Occupancy and Rate Per Sq Ft across your sites. You can drill down for specifics on a particular site or select a time period you want to look into. It's all updated instantly. Best of all, you don't need to do anything to get these reports beyond use Stora as normal, we do the hard work for you. Here's how it looks:

How we calculate the data:

• Gross Revenue: The sum of all invoices generated in Stora. Shown for the current month compared to the previous month, and over time.
• Monthly Recurring Revenue: The total value of active subscriptions in Stora.
• Occupancy: The percentage of all currently allocated units in terms of area. Shown for the current month compared to the previous month, and over time.
• Rate Per Sq Ft: The sum of all active subscriptions, multiplied by 12, the total is then divided by total allocated area.

This is just the beginning for our Dashboard and reporting in Stora, we'll consistently improve it to give you the valuable information you need to grow your business.
