Contacts - The new home of Customers and Leads
Until now Stora has been focused on existing customers. With our latest release we've introduced a new high-level grouping of Contacts, which your existing customers now sit within, alongside something new... Leads!
What is a lead?
A lead is a potential customer. They may end up in the system in one of two ways:
- You add them manually from your "Add a Lead" form.
- They placed a booking via your Storefront, but didn't set up their payment. That means they're now easy to identify, so you can get in touch and try to finalise the sale.
Does this change anything with existing customers?
No. A customer is still anyone who has booked a unit and set up their monthly payment from your Storefront.
One more thing... Contact Notes!
Notes are a great new way to capture important information about any Customer or Lead. To add one, simply visit a Contact, type your note, and hit enter. You can add as many as you like, Stora keeps them in order from newest to oldest.
Other fixes and improvements
- Each Contact page has a new layout. Here you can find out new info like what type of contact they are, and when the Contact was created in Stora. Plus more coming soon. 🤫
- We've improved all of the forms in the Stora Backoffice with an improved design, and extra guidance to make your life easier.
